Zvi Hecker

Regardless of the architectural values (funcion, space, solution) at stake, the work of Hecker reaches a level of intricacy that we like. Geometrical but chaotic, rigorous but uncertain, problematic but resolving. A free kicker, Hecker went through the 900s without ever allowing himself a recognizable modus operandi. His works are extreme complications of the pleasure of constructing. A little Gaudì of Austro-Hungarian rigidity: no color, no sun, no sea.
