Guixé and Munari

What can I say? The garage lamp earned the 'Compasso d'oro for the unknown' prize, awarded by Munari, for all those characteristics that make it simply perfect. So who knows whether Martì Guixé, for his new project called "Cau" that will be presented for Danese (coincidence?) at The International Furniture Fair of Milan 2008, thought about the words of Munari when he said that "this type of lamp can also be used simply as it is, hanging it to a branch to illuminate balconies, or moving it easily around the kids room. At a minimum cost."
So why not turn it into a house lamp by hanging it on the inside of an object shaped like a table lamp?
And Guixè did not neglect that orange color that he left to prevail, that classic orange for which Munari wrote: "No yielding to fashion. Some models are painted with a lively color: orange, perhaps to find it easily amongst the other objects."
Maybe there is no connection, no reference, but I like to think otherwise.
