Dismettiamola!

During this year's Design Week in Milan, an exhibition organized by 5 young designers* was held at the Fabbrica del Vapore. The show featured projects that examine the theme of waste and recycle with particular attention to "how to throw away trash".38 projects of designers (age range 25-30) that had to face the opinions of three exceptional judges: Finessi, Ferreri and Santachiara. 11 objects + 5 of the organizers, all housed by a very patient hand-made arrangement of paper made by Matteo Capobianco. So:

- A persian carpet that no longer hides only small amounts of dust, but a heap of it; Alessandro Balbo and Lidia Signori.

- Trash cans that intersect each other to create a new container; Piter Perbellini.

- A suitcase for taking the trash to the courtyard, that contains structural bags on the inside; Angela Ponzini.

- A vase that enables you to make your own potting compost; Sovrappensiero.

- A series of paper trash cans made out of recycled paper bags; Riccardo Nannini, Domenico Orefice and Emanuele Pizzolorusso.

- An elegant sheet metal trash can that allows you to separate the waste; Biagio Ludovico.

- A way to have atleast a little bit of fun while separating the waste by shooting some hoops; Lorenzo de Bartolomeis.

- A t-shirt made by recycling 8 PET bottles and the graphic illustrates 8 PET bottles; Gluegluedesign.

- A roll of waste bags from which you can learn more about recycling; A-rstudio.

- A mini pocket-sized waste disposal for chewing gum; Bubble design.

- The classic black trash bag with symbols that make us reflect; Asteriscolab.

- A provocative mirrored inside that multiplies the image of the contents; Alessandro Balbo and Lidia Signori.

- A cardboard curved sinuously to contain waste bags; Philippe Cordola.

- Another cardboard wastebasket that invites us to recycle the grocery plastic bags as trash bags; Andreas Boccone.

- A set of plastic tags that indicate the waste category, suitable for any waste container and easy to apply; Chiara Moreschi.

A successful show, organized by young designers, arranged and set-up by young designers, with objects of young designers, a little bit of fresh air...
