Bouquet IV

The piece is called Bouquet IV (2005). The artists are Jeroen de Rijke and Willem de Rooij (currently on show at the MAMBO in Bologna). The work is made up of three parts: a description of flower type and quantity, a black and white photograph of the bouquet measuring 122,5 x 122,6 x 2,4 cm and the actual bouquet placed inside a white ceramic vase. What happens is that the piece creates infinite copies of itself. Each time the bouquet in the white ceramic vase turns out to be same as and different from its previous versions. Each time the bouquet will be like a personal interpretation of a local florist that attempts to recreate the bouquet from the black and white picture, using the same but inevitably different flowers.
Dear florists, what's the bouquet going look like next time around?
